Built with high-quality trusted material manufacturers:

TPO: Fully Adhered and RhinoBond Systems

TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) is known for its energy efficiency and UV resistance, making it a popular choice for commercial buildings.

Fully Adhered TPO Systems

The TPO membrane is bonded directly to the substrate using adhesive, creating a smooth, seamless surface. This system is:

• Highly reflective, reducing energy costs

• Priority in cooling efficiency

A great option for buildings in hot climates.

RhinoBond TPO Systems

RhinoBond Technology uses induction welding to attach fasteners and plates beneath the membrane, creating secure, watertight bonds without surface penetration. RhinoBond systems offer:

• Faster installation

• Reduces material usage

• Resistance to high winds

This system makes them an excellent choice for large, open areas or high-wind zones. RhinoBond combines the best of both mechanically fastened and fully adhered systems with less disruption to the membrane

EPDM: Fully Adhered and Mechanically Fastened
Systems

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber membrane known for its flexibility and superior weather resistance, especially in colder climates.

Fully Adhered EPDM Systems

The membrane is glued to the insulation or substrate, offering a smooth, durable surface. This method excels in:

• Extreme weather conditions

• Handling fluctuating temperatures

This system makes it ideal for buildings in varying climates. Its seamless nature provides excellent waterproofing and flexibility.

Mechanically Fastened EPDM Systems

This system uses fasteners to secure the membrane to the roof desk, making it a more cost-effective option. Mechanically fastened EPDM provides:

• Solid wind resistance

• Quick Installation - especially on roofs with simple layouts

This method is especially is often chosen for projects where flexibility in installation and budget are key considerations.

Commercial Roofing Services

Key Differences:

Energy Efficiency

TPO, especially with fully adhered or RhinoBond systems, is highly reflective and helps lower cooling costs. EPDM, on the other hand, absorbs more heat but excels in colder climates due to its flexibility

Installation

RhinoBond offers a fast, non-penetrating solution with high wind resistance, while EPDM's mechanically fastened system is simpler and cost-effective. Fully adhered systems for both TPO and EPDM offer seamless, long lasting performance, but the materials cater to different climate needs.
